Japan’s scrap exports prices continue rising

It's reported that Japan's scrap export prices have continued rising recently.

Japan's export quotes of H2 scraps to Korea have surged to ¥32,000~¥32,500/ton FOB recently, the highest level since end of May. However, there is no transaction being made so far.

Meanwhile, it's learned that Hyundai Steel purchased Japanese H2 scraps with prices of ¥31,500/ton FOB.

Industry sources expected that Japan's scrap export prices would continue to rise in the short term.
